Linden Turner House - completed 2016

An important new development to enhance Frensham’s boarding facilities was the expansion of Linden Turner House and an upgrade of its existing facilities and surrounds. The refurbishment and expansion was completed at the beginning of Term 4, adding 16 additional twin rooms (32 beds), new student common room, bathrooms, laundry, Parent Reception, drop-off/pick-up at Waverley Parade frontage.



The Centenary Pool Project

COMMENCED OCTOBER 2013 - COMPLETED DECEMBER 2014

To mark Frensham's Centenary in 2013, Winifred West Schools Foundation aimed to provide an indoor swimming facility for the Schools by raising money for The Centenary Pool Project.

The Centenary Pool has given the Winifred West Schools the opportunity, once again, to provide both the Schools and the wider community with a facility previously not available - an indoor heated swimming complex for training, water polo and swimming lessons.

Courts Complex - Tennis, Basketball Netball

Funded through the generosity of the WWS community & WWS Foundation’s Centenary Appeal

  • 10 new hard courts placed centrally on the Games Field adjacent to the turf hockey field
  • This completes is Stage 1 of the Centenary Pool / Courts Project - allowing development of the original courts site for the Pool
  • Landscaping of grounds for spectator viewing and to link the new courts to the hockey turf, grass fields, Centenary Trail for Cross Country and visitor Car Park

  • 45 single rooms for Year 12 boarders 
  • New Common Room and state-of-the-art kitchen 
  • New Foyer and Duty Room 
  • All new bathroom and laundry facilities 
  • New House Staff accommodation
