Frensham Schools seeks to appoint our next Head of Gib Gate, our coeducational primary school that sits alongside Frensham, our girls’ secondary boarding school, and Sturt, our art and design school. Gib Gate is seeking a dynamic and energetic Japanese language teacher to join its team.
We work collaboratively to promote Japanese language and culture across the school and have a long-standing sister school arrangement with Hokuriku Gakuin Elementary School in Kanazawa, Japan, involving regular communications and a school tour programme first established in 1990.
The position would suit experienced teachers with proven success in teaching at all levels or recent graduates with proven ability to meet the goals of the Languages faculty over time.

FRENSHAM Teacher of Design and Technology
DESIGN and TECHNOLOGY TEACHER
Frensham is seeking a Design and Technology teacher, with experience working with computer-aided design and manufacture techniques, to join our academic staff and to inspire our students through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.
Frensham has a thriving programme and a history of outstanding results and performance.
We are looking for an outstanding TAS Teacher, with expertise in CAD/CAM techniques, programming and the capacity to work with resistant materials in innovative and creative ways across 7-12 TAS and STEM courses.

- An ability to use computing code to work in the STEM area and/or the willingness to develop these skills into the future
- Strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and marking processes, including developments with Australian Curriculum implementation in NSW

Frensham is seeking casual Registered Nurses to join our outstanding team in the on-campus Health Centre.
Led by the Coordinator of the Health Centre, the Frensham Health Centre staff are the first point of contact for parents and staff regarding student health at Frensham. The team operates collaboratively to develop and promote the emotional and physical health and wellbeing of the students.
The Health Centre provides 24-hour nursing care and support, 7 days a week during school terms.

- Formal qualification, currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board (Essential)
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR accreditation (Required)

The Role
Frensham is seeking part-time and full-time residential staff to commence in Term 1, 2022. These positions would suit a recent graduate, experienced teacher or residential carer.
Led by the Director of Student Life (Boarding), the Frensham Boarding Staff operate collaboratively to promote residential education to students, working together to develop and promote emotional and physical health and happiness.
Frensham provides a highly developed residential setting where girls ‘love to board’ and where academic care and leadership development are core.

- Formal qualification in education or residential care preferred (either complete, or a willingness to complete, or currently in progress) and relevant experience

This is a rare opportunity for passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educators, holding either a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, to be part of the Gib Gate’s Preschool programme on a part time and/or casual basis.
Gib Gate is the co-educational Preschool to Year 6 Primary School of Frensham Schools with a highly experienced team of staff. The campus is set on a magnificent 10 acres with outstanding specialist facilities for core and extra-curricular teaching and learning.
Gib Gate Preschool is a purpose-built facility positioned within the K-6 School Campus. The Preschool is a self-contained, light-filled, open plan facility. It encompasses three connected teaching spaces, including a dedicated Visual Art studio. Gib Gate Preschool children also take part in active, outdoor learning caring for the Gib Gate Land for Wildlife site, where they engage in environmental education within a native bushland setting. The Preschool garden has also been designed to encourage imaginative and constructive play.
Gib Gate Preschool is accredited and registered with the Early Childhood Education and Care Directorate and the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority. Programming is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework and Reggio Emilia Philosophy of early childhood education. Preschool children participate in an expanded specialist programme which includes Library, Music and Physical Education sessions. They take part in an annual P-6 Junior Musical and other School events.
