Frensham welcomes applications from outstanding educators and staff. We are located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales on a magnificent 300-acre rural campus and in an inspirational learning and working environment, 70 minutes from Sydney and easily accessible by freeway from all parts of New South Wales and key airports.

At Frensham, we have a commitment to excellence – continually evaluating and developing our ‘next practice’ using a research-based approach. Through innovative and adaptive approaches, we develop a spirit of enquiry and a love of learning with a future focus and the capacity to discern, so that students and staff  experience the adventure of experiment and the excitement of breaking new ground.

The unselfish pursuit of excellence, intellectual rigour and contribution through personal and collaborative effort are key elements of a Frensham education. We want students to be ambitious academically in an environment that inspires intellectual growth, and to thrive in terms of character, leadership and wellbeing. We remain committed to providing an educational experience where every student is known individually and where we exceed expectations in meeting the professional needs of future-oriented teachers. In our approach to improvement, we embrace the challenge to benchmark ourselves against national and global standards.

Frensham aims to be the school of choice for outstanding educators. We prioritise recruitment and retention, acknowledging that truly great schools are underpinned by outstanding teachers. We constantly seek innovative ways to deliver learning – creating a culture designed to inspire intellectual and emotional growth and moving curriculum delivery beyond traditional structures.

There is a real sense of shared responsibility for the achievement of excellence – in all that we do. Teachers work as a team of professional colleagues and students accept responsibility to be the best they can be – they know they are expected to care and be purposeful.
