How to Enrol

Frensham educates girls from Year 7 to Year 12 as either Full, Weekly or Day Boarders, with 70% of the student population living and learning in residence. We welcome applications for enrolment for entry into Years 7-11, with our largest intake year being Year 7. To learn more about Frensham and how to enrol your daughter, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Experience Frensham

There are a number of ways to learn more about Frensham. You can review our website and connect with us on social media; request our Prospectus; attend an Open Day, or if you cannot make it to Open Day, arrange a personalised Campus Tour. Our next Open Day will be held on Saturday 24 February, 2024. We also offer prospective boarders who are in Year 5, the unique opportunity to find out what it’s like to be a ‘real boarder’ in a Junior House at Frensham. In 2024, Sample Boarding will be held on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September.

2. Application*

Apply for a place by submitting an Application for Registration form. You can do this online. The application must be accompanied by a non-refundable Application Fee.

*Please note, Registration in itself does not constitute enrolment.

3. Interview

By the year preceding the entry year being sought, should a place be available, students and their parents will be invited to attend an interview with the Head of Frensham. Copies of a student’s two most recent school reports, NAPLAN results and any other relevant information, will be requested prior to the interview.

4. Offer

The Head will send a Letter of Offer to successful applicants, following the interview process. Offers are made at the sole discretion of the Head.

5. Acceptance of Offer 

To accept the offer of a place at Frensham, parents sign and submit an Enrolment Form, and pay a non-refundable Enrolment Fee, securing their daughter’s place at the School.

Enrolling During the School Year
Subject to availability, the School may offer places to students wishing to enrol at any time throughout the school year. The same enrolment process outlined above applies.

Application for Registration: $220
Confirmation of Enrolment:
- Year 7: $2,000
- Year 8 to Year 9: $3,000
- Year 10 to Year 12: $4,000
