The Fellowship AGM was held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club (RSGC) on Wednesday 12 June and was well attended, with nearly 80 guests. The Fellowship Executive of Annette O’Connell, President, Liz Hunter, Vice President, Ingrid Ridge, Secretary and Anna Hayes, Treasurer, and on-going Committee of Susie Arnott, Pook Austin, Cath Brennan, Vickie Ciddor, Sam Kennedy, Julia Laverty and Kate Waldren were re-elected.

Following the AGM, members enjoyed drinks and dinner, followed by this year’s guest speaker, Kumi Taguchi (1993). Kumi was an impassioned and inspirational speaker, talking about her years as a journalist and how to maintain an ethical and uncompromising quest for truth in the media, quoting In Love Serve One Another as a guiding motto in her life.

It was particularly pleasing to see the mix of year groups on the evening, with Old Girls from 1947 to 2011 in attendance.  President Annette O’Connell thanked club member, Julia Laverty, for arranging the RSGC venue.
