Mr Geoff Marsh – Honorary Member of Fellowship

As many in our Frensham community know, Geoff Marsh is leaving Frensham Schools to take up a position as Principal of The Riverina Anglican College in Wagga Wagga.

Geoff has achieved so much in more than 20 years as Deputy Head of Frensham Schools. His passion for educating young people, and constant striving to ensure that Frensham, Gib Gate and Sturt continue to offer the very best in education, support, learning programs and environment, has been justly rewarded by this appointment.

In honour of Geoff’s distinguished service to Frensham Schools, he has been made an Honorary Member of Fellowship. This Membership will be formally ratified at the Annual General Meeting in June next year.

Everyone in the Frensham community will miss Geoff’s educational leadership and expertise. However, Fellowship wishes Geoff all the best in his role at The Riverina Anglican College. As an Honorary Fellowship Member, we hope that he will be heartened by the spirit of Fellowship that he can take with him as he takes up his new position in Wagga Wagga.

Memorabilia – buy early for Christmas

Each fortnight, we highlight items of our extensive Memorabilia range available for purchase. This fortnight, we feature our beautiful 100% cotton tea towel, depicting Irises by Sir Sidney Nolan (reproduced with kind permission of the Sidney Nolan Trust/Bridgemen Images) a painting donated by a group of Old Girls from 1953, which now hangs in the Esther Tuckey Library. The tea towel costs $30 plus $10 postage. Also in this range are mugs and notecards.

An extensive range of items are available at the Sturt Shop. If you are looking for something special for Christmas, please email shop@sturt.nsw.edu.au

Save the Date – May 2022!

We have two very important events coming up in May next year.

On Saturday 21 May, we will be hosting a reunion for all those Year groups who missed their reunions over the last two years—the Classes of 2015, 2011, 2000, 2001, 1990, 1991, 1980, 1981, 1971, 1961, and 1951!

Please note that the annual Fellowship Golf Day had previously been scheduled for Monday 23 May. We now have a revised date of Monday 2 May, and this will be held at Elanora Country Club.
