Day Boarding

A sense of belonging for day boarders

All the girls at Frensham are considered boarders – even those who live at home. By starting every school day at their Boarding House local students are as much a part of Frensham as our full and weekly boarders.

With meals and extended supervision of studies and activities included in enrolment, day boarders take part in the fundamental aspects of House life. They have name places in the Dining room and a locker right alongside the rest of their year group.

Living close by, we know that Day Boarders* strengthen the School’s connection with the local community, and help other girls form new friendships outside of school.

* The use of this term denotes our commitment to the inclusion of all students within the ‘extended day’ and enriched programmes offered at Frensham
