Our commitment to ensuring more can access a Frensham Schools education.

We provide a number of opportunities for potential students to benefit from all that Frensham has to offer.

Each year, Frensham offers a range of Academic Scholarships and means-tested Bursaries for students entering Years 7 to 11.

Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance in the Frensham scholarship Test, which all applicants are required to sit.

Bursaries are available to families whose financial circumstances would otherwise prevent their child from attending Frensham. These are means-tested, and as part of the application process, parents are asked to complete a confidential financial assessment. Further details are provided in the Bursaries section below.

Frensham Bursaries

Structure

Frensham invites applications for Bursaries for up to 50% remission on tuition and/or boarding fees from parents who are committed to the ideals of the School and whose daughters have shown a strong capacity for involvement, the pursuit of excellence, and the heartfelt willingness to contribute to the welfare of others.

Criteria

It is intended that Bursaries be awarded to those whose financial circumstances would preclude them from enrolling on a full fee-paying basis. Selection Criteria include family and financial circumstances, educational background and performance, personal qualities and character and a commitment to the life of Frensham. An independent financial assessment is included in the application.
