Frensham Alumni

Frensham Fellowship

Across diverse pathways, our alumni continue to reflect Frensham’s distinctive values.

The Frensham experience extends far beyond graduation, with our alumni carrying forward the School’s distinctive spirit and core values throughout their lives.

Known as the Frensham Fellowship, our alumni society fosters strong, enduring connections through professional networking, mentoring opportunities, and celebrations of our shared heritage. These initiatives ensure that the philosophy of Frensham continues to inspire and empower successive generations.

Below, two graduates sign the Fellowship Book, a cherished Frensham tradition.

Staying Connected

We look forward to strengthening our relationship with both current and future alumnae. Through ongoing opportunities for engagement, mentoring and networking, we aim to support a supportive and enduring community.

Our commitment is to ensure that the Frensham spirit continues to enrich alumni in their personal and professional lives for many years to come.

History of Frensham Fellowship

An excerpt from the Frensham Chronicle, 1977.

The first meetings to decide about forming an Old Girl’s society were held in The Holt in 1918. Miss West presided, 15 members of the staff, 19 present girls, and 9 old girls attended. The main business was a discussion on the aims of the Society.

Miss West said that present girls would largely take their tone from Old Girls, therefore the latter must set a high standard. There was a good deal of discussion about a suitable motto. Eventually the last words of Cecil Rhodes were chosen – “So much to do, so little done”. Taken from Tennyson’s In Memoriam the full quotation is – “So many worlds, so much to do, so little done, such things to be”.
